The hundredth Spar supermarket converted from Plus store has opened

The SPAR Hungary Ltd. took over a year ago, the 174 businesses of the Plus network. In January 2009 the transformating of Plus stores into Spar supermarkets has been started. The company's 100th transformated business, opened in Szombathely.

The Plus store in Szombathely has opened again as a Spar supermarket on 23rd July 2009. With 611 square meters of retail space the store is located in the heart of the city's where almost two thousand customers purchases per day. Compared to the former Plus store, important changes have been occured, which means expanded product range and own branded goods. The previous product range consisted of 3000 items now doubled.
