Vörösvár Kft. has opened a new chapter in the domestic food trade: on July 1, 2025, it opened Hungary’s first PRIMA FOOD OUTLET store, where customers can access selected quality products with up to 70% discount. The new concept aims to offer the well-known PRIMA quality at ultra-low prices, but at the same time in a sustainable form.

In the renovated store in the Récsei Center in the 14th district of Budapest, the price drop is not a campaign, but a permanent principle. The outlet concept grocery store operates as a member of the Breier Group, in a shop-in-shop format, on more than 100 square meters and offers products that are out of stock due to the assortment transformation, may be overstocked or have damaged packaging, and are approaching their expiration date – but their quality remains excellent. During the opening week, more than 5,000 items will be on offer: pasta, canned goods, sweets, chemical products, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, but fresh goods will also be available at outlet prices.

The store simultaneously serves the needs of price-sensitive and conscious customers, while also contributing to reducing waste. Well-known brands, domestic and international products are placed on the shelves, in an orderly and clear format. Customers can also follow the list of available products on the website.

The idea behind the concept is simple, yet groundbreaking:

“This is a cheap store and a smart decision at the same time! For our customers and our environment. All branded, quality products from the network that are being phased out due to assortment updates, whose packaging is damaged or has a near expiration date will be brought here. And we offer this at a fraction of the price.”

– said Péter Breier, owner.

The goal of PRÍMA OUTLET is to offer a new alternative to those who are looking for good value for money without compromise – day after day.
