The country’s largest ALDI store has opened
Hungary’s largest ALDI store opened today in Budapest’s 11th district. Located in Újbuda, next to the section of main road 6 leading out of the city, between Szerémi and Fehérvári streets, at Kondorosi út 6, the modern store provides a convenient shopping opportunity for the residents and workers of Budapest’s largest district. With the store, ALDI has created 35 new jobs in the capital. On the occasion of the opening, customers will be treated to discounted products and gifts.
ALDI works every day to make its low-priced, yet high-quality product range available to as wide a range of customers as possible, thus helping Hungarian families save money. The company has expanded its domestic network with another store in response to the continuous consumer feedback and requests it receives. The Budapest store opened today is ALDI’s 182nd store in Hungary and its 47th store in the capital. The new retail unit is easily accessible on foot, by public transport and by car: from Fehérvári Street, it can be reached quickly by trams 17, 41, 47, bus 114/214, from nearby residential parks and office buildings on foot and by bicycle, and those arriving by car can use a 240-space free parking lot while shopping.
The store at Kondorosi út 6 is located on a two-hectare area, on which a building with 4,000 square meters of sales space is located. The new store opened on almost half of this, with more than 1,800 square meters of sales space, which is almost twice the size of an average ALDI. This floor space allows for wider aisles and longer shelving systems than usual, so the ALDI with the largest sales space in the country awaits customers in the most populous district of Budapest.
