Oktoberfest opened its gates
World’s largest festival the Oktoberfest opened its gates on the third Saturday of September
in the presence of several thousand celebtrating crowd, mostly dressed in Bavarian costumes.
This year's Oktoberfest is the 176th in Germany and is very popular among beer lovers all over the world – including the Hungarians. The organizers expect, that this year they will break last year’s 6 million visitors record. Records are expected in beer consumption as well, since last year "only" 6.6 million tankard cold beer had been sold – reports zalanews.eu.
