HILTON launches HILTON GARDEN INN brand in Russia
Over the next 10 years, Hilton expects to open more than 70 Hilton hotels in key Russian cities and regional centres.
Hilton has opened its first hotel under
the Hilton Garden Inn banner in Russia, located in Perm. It marks the
second Hilton brand out of three scheduled to debut in Russia.
Last month Hilton opened its flagship
hotel in Moscow and next year it intends to open the first Doubletree
by Hilton in Novosibirsk, Siberia.
The new Hilton Garden Inn Perm is
operated under a franchise agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton
Hotels Corporation and with Hotels of Ural. The new hotel offers 102
rooms, a fitness centre, lounge area, bar and restaurant, as well as
the Hilton Garden Inn 24-hour Pavilion Pantry which provides a
selection of food and beverage options.
Hilton has named Russia as a key
development region, along with the UK and Ireland, Italy, the Iberian
Peninsula, Germany, Turkey and Poland.
