TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel has opened in the immediate vicinity of Liszt Ferenc International Airport
TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel has opened in the immediate vicinity of Terminal 2 of Liszt Ferenc International Airport, and rooms can be booked in the four-star hotel since mid-May – it was announced on Tuesday at the hotel’s press briefing.
The investment costs of the TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel, developed by WING, are treated as a business secret by the parties involved.
Noah Steinberg, CEO of WING, highlighted at the briefing that their TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel development was implemented close to Hungary’s international gateway, at Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The investment responds to Budapest Airport’s need for capacity expansion and strengthens WING’s position in the hotel industry, as well as the airport’s importance in Hungarian tourism.
The CEO of the real estate development group explained that the new hotel will have 167 rooms, including suites, on six floors in its 7-story, 8,000-square-meter building, a conference capacity for 150 people has been created, and a direct connection has been built with the ibis Styles Budapest Airport hotel next door, also developed by WING and opened years ago.
Pauline Oster, Vice President of the Accor TRIBE brand for Europe and North Africa, emphasized that the TRIBE brand provides guests with characterful, design-focused accommodations. TRIBE opened its second hotel in Budapest in just two years, after the TRIBE Budapest Stadium hotel, she highlighted.
Francois Berisot, CEO of Budapest Airport, emphasized that the traffic at Budapest Airport is constantly expanding, the number of passengers is increasing, so it is important for them to provide appropriate service, and nearby hotels also play an important role in this.
Csaba Palotai, director of TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel, pointed out that the hotel is also a meeting point, and they not only welcome hotel guests, but also welcome everyone to the sky bar on the roof terrace on the seventh floor.
