At the event, Minister of Agriculture Nagy István emphasized that there is no more secure point than the local market, the Ministry has also stood in the emergency situation caused by the pandemic in recent months, and still stands for the operation of producer markets and their values.
He put it this way: the fate of Hungarian farmers is in the hands of shoppers, so it is important to encourage people to make conscious purchases, so that many jobs can be maintained. “We need to strengthen customer engagement toward domestic products,” he said. (MTI)
