SHEIN’s first Hungarian store has opened
On December 10, 2024, at noon, SHEIN’s first Hungarian store opened in the Sugár Shopping Center, on Örs vezér square in Budapest. With this step, the globally popular fashion brand entered the domestic retail market, although for now in the form of a pop-up store, which means that the store will only be available temporarily – Pénzcentrum points out.
Huge interest on the opening day
The opening of the store attracted huge interest: long lines formed in the Sugár Shopping Center even before opening. The store awaits visitors with a modern, clean interior and a wide range of products. In addition to clothes, shoes, and accessories that match the latest fashion trends, customers can also choose from home decoration products. The prices are the same as those usual in the SHEIN online store, so the brand promises to provide an affordable fashion experience in person.
Special promotions and gifts
On the occasion of the opening, SHEIN treated its customers to exclusive promotions and gifts, which further increased interest in the brand. The pop-up store concept allows customers to get to know the brand’s offering better and personally experience the quality and style of the products that have already become popular in the online space.
The importance of the Hungarian market for SHEIN
The opening of SHEIN’s first physical store in Hungary is a milestone in the brand’s history. Although the store is temporary for now, this step indicates that SHEIN sees serious potential in the Hungarian market. The appearance of the store brings a new color to the Sugár offering located on Örs Vezér Square, which can thus become an even more attractive destination for customers.
Shein’s statement
“SHEIN products are only available online through our official website and app. Any stores in Hungary that claim to be SHEIN stores are not authorised by SHEIN or affiliated with us in any way, and we cannot guarantee the authenticity or quality of the products they offer. From time to time, we may host temporary offline retail “pop-up” experiences, but customers will always hear about these directly from us via our social media channels. We are taking the appropriate measures to deal with this unauthorized store and to protect our customers in Hungary.
