With a history spanning over 37 years, PLMA World of Private Label – Private Label Exhibition is one of the most prestigious trade events in 2025. The trade fair in Amsterdam is becoming more and more popular every year among traders and manufacturers who are looking for new business opportunities and partners in the private label market. It is no wonder that the Agrármarketing Centrum has been operating its community stand at the event to a full house for years, and even after the previous exhibition, companies are put on a waiting list to be there in Amsterdam.

The rise of private label products worldwide is outstanding: in several European countries, these products already have a market share of over 40%, and in nine other countries they exceed 30%. They have maintained their strong market position even during the pandemic, thanks to competitive products and their improving quality.

This year, the Agrármarketing Centrum is operating a 198 square meter community stand, where 20 Hungarian food industry companies will be presenting themselves to an international audience. The exhibition will focus on AMC’s export development business, the Hungarian Food Business Program, which, among other things, registers buyers interested in Hungarian products in the program’s online system.

The majority of Hungarian exhibitors participate in the event year after year. The product range is very diverse this time as well: professional visitors can expand their product portfolio with, among other things, smoked meat products, dried pasta, canned and pickled foods, frozen vegetables, fruits, oat bars, muesli and biscuits, which they can recommend to supermarket chains and shops.

The statistics of the 2024 exhibition also reflect the importance of the event: 2,961 exhibitors and 18,000 trade visitors participated in the event, further strengthening PLMA’s position in the international exhibition calendar. The PLMA exhibition provides space in separate pavilions for companies producing food and non-food products. The product categories presented cover an extremely wide spectrum, including fresh and frozen foods, dry goods and beverages, cosmetics, health and beauty products, household and kitchen equipment, car care products, and gardening products.

The community stand was visited during the exhibition by Dániel Horogszegi Szilágyi-Landeck, Hungarian Ambassador to the Netherlands, and Edit Pápai, Foreign Trade Attaché.
