Premium Swiss hospitality is adding a new touch of colour to Budapest’s city centre: the Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre has opened its doors. The hotel, born from a collaboration between the international hotel chain Accor and the Mogotel Hotel Group, is housed in the historic Palace Hotel building, combining turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau elegance with modern amenities.

The six-storey building, designed by Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab in 1911, was one of the most modern hotels in Budapest at the beginning of the 20th century. Now the Mövenpick spirit has breathed new life into it: the 227 renovated rooms and suites combine timeless elegance with Swiss precision and comfort. With a conference capacity of over 300 people, the hotel is also a worthy venue for business and special events.

The Mövenpick brand is famous for its culinary traditions, which is also faithfully reflected in the Palace restaurant. Combining authentic Hungarian flavors and modern gastronomic technologies with Mövenpick’s own iconic dishes, the cuisine promises a special experience for both Budapest residents and international guests. The Swiss heritage is also reflected in the daily chocolate hour in the lobby, where lovers of sweet tastes can sample Swiss dessert specialties.

The opening of the hotel is another step in the long-term cooperation between Accor and Mogotel Hotel Group. The group has twenty years of experience in the region and is present in Sweden, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia in addition to the Baltic countries. Mövenpick in Budapest is a key stage in their expansion into Central Europe.

As members of the ALL – Accor Live Limitless – loyalty program, guests can also access exclusive discounts, special services and experiences.

The opening of the Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre is both a tribute to the capital’s architectural heritage and a promise of a future-oriented, experience-filled hospitality experience – in premium quality.
