The meat plant in Debrecen has been saved, production soon to be resumed
The company managed to find a new investor to further operate the closed plant of the Debreceni Csoport Húsipari Kft., owned by the Slovakian Penta group – told the the president of the company's works council to MTI.
According to Seprényi Lajosné; Kósa Lajos mayor and Papp László deputy mayor informed the works council members on Friday morning, that the city's negotiations over the saving of the city's meat industry led to success.
The 400 employees of the plant will still be employed, the production can be started again in one, one and a half months – added Seprényi Lajosné.
