Consumer spendings have increased in the world's largest economy
The U.S. personal spendings grew by 0.8 percent in February, surpassing the expectations of a 0.6 percent increase.
The January data was improved to 0.4 percent growth from 0.2 percent. However, the earnings were not able to rise in the expected extent. The 0.2 percent growth of earnings did not changed in February, compared to January. Because spendings have exceeded the growth of incomes, the savings rate declined to 3.7 percent, from the 4.1 percent of January – Népszabadság Online reports after Quaestor.
