Analysts were surprised by the industrial orders increase in the eurozone
In December 2010, the new industrial orders in the euro area increased by 2.1 percent, while in the European Union increased by 2.5 percent on a monthly basis – reported Eurostat on Thursday.
In November, the orders in the euro area increased by 2.2 percent and in the European Union by 1.7 percent. Compared to December 2009, industrial orders increased in both regions by 18.5 percent.
In December, orders without transportation increased by 1.3 percent both in the eurozone and in the European Union – reports ProfitLine.hu
