The weak industrial production data of January surprised the analysts
Analysts are surprised by the weak industrial production data for January, because they expected higher production levels, and although they can not see clearly all processes, they consider that this year’s production growth will be below last year’s.
The Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday that the volume of industrial production fell by 0.5 percent in January, compared to the same period of the last year. Compared to the previous month, the seasonally and working day adjusted industrial production index shows a 2.1 percent increase in January. (MTI)
