The expansion of investments in the second quarter surprised the analysts
Analysts surveyed by MTI on Friday considered the expansion of investments in the second quarter as a surprise, while the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) pointed out that this is unprecedented since the last pre-crisis year: 2007.
The Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Friday that the volume of investments in the national economy increased by 4.6 percent in the second quarter of 2013, compared to the same period of the last year, but compared to the previous quarter, slightly declined by 0.1 percent.
Suppan Gergely, senior analyst of Savings Bank called the growth a huge surprise. He added that growth has not seen for seven years. (MTI)
