Colonnade Insurance Company Has Started Processing Claims Due to Unitravel’s Insolvency
The Hungarian Branch of Colonnade Insurance S.A., as the insurer providing the financial security of Unitravel Kft., has started processing the claims, after the Metropolitan Government Office made an official decision on July 10th to declare the travel agency insolvent – the insurer informed MTI on Friday.
Colonnade will reimburse the claims of the affected passengers in accordance with the relevant legislation, within the framework of the financial security. The primary consideration for the insurer is that the administration in the current situation is reliable, legal and customer-centric – they announced.
The insurer requests that the affected passengers send the documents necessary for the claim to the insurer by August 31, 2025 at the latest. In order to facilitate the administration, claims reports are expected to be sent to the e-mail address created exclusively for this matter: biztositek@colonnade.hu.
