NAV’s tourist control has begun
The NAV’s staff inspect tourism operators in the downtown area during the summer (segway, tuktuk, rickshaw, sightseeing buses), touristic boats on the Budapest Danube section and folk art and gift retail shops in the 1st and 5th Districts.
They will examine the invoices and receipts, the regular use of online cash registers, the verification of the origin of goods and the regular employment of employees. In addition, inspectors may occasionally make money checks and traffic counts. (nav.gov.hu)
