The acquisition of furmint and hárslevelű has begun in Tokaj-Hegyalja
The state-owned Grand Tokaj Zrt. has begun to buy furmint and hárslevelű grapes in the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region – the largest purchaser and winery in the region told MTI on Friday.
According to the information, the raw material of the semi-dry and semi-sweet Tokaj Muscat wines arrived to the Tolcsva processor as an excellent raw material, and the company pays 100 and 140 forints per kilogram in October, “which provides decent benefits to the small farmers”. (MTI)
