Harvest has begun
With the harvesting of the of autumn barley and rape this year’s harvest season in the country has begun.
Experts expect crop yields lower than last year’s record levels for the summer-harvested crops – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
Following the meeting of the Harvest Coordination Committee, Czerván György said that works are completed so far on 15 percent (ie 35 thousand hectares) of the autumn barley production area. (MTI)
