The lawsuit against the Four Paws has started

The Municipal Court adjourned the civil suit of Hungerit poultry processing compans against the Four Paws Foundation to October. The company claims that the international animal protection organization is carrying out a smear campaign against them for years, causing billions of damages.

According to the Hungerit Zrt., the Vienna-based Four Paws associated the name of the company with with animal welfare offenses and with animal cruelty in connection with geese filling for eight consecutive years, causing huge losses on the Western European markets. The action’s title is reputation violations currently, and beside the symbolic one hundred forints claim, the company required the court to impose a fine.
