The great harvest has begun in Tokaj-hegyalja
The great harvest has begun in Tokaj-hegyalja: the state-owned Tokaj Trading House Ltd. buys up the traditional grape varieties, the Furmint and the Lipovina from Thursday – Kiss István CEO told MTI.
At the historic Tokaj wine region, winemakers expect an estimated 300 thousand tons of grapes this year. The Tokaj Trading House Ltd. purchases slightly more than a two-third of this quantity from the producers – said Kiss István. (MTI)
