The corn and sunflower harvest has begun in Fejér county
The corn and sunflower harvest has begun in Fejér county, while most of the winter rape, and 40 percent of winter barley has been sown – Czetnerné Kócsa Márta head of the Agriculture of the Board of the Fejér county Government Office told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the informations of Czetnerné Kócsa Márta, about 30 percent of the sunflower has been harvested, with average yield of 2.65 tons per hectare. About 10-15 percent of the sunflower crop is already transported to the storages: the average yield is 6.4 tons per hectare but shows a significant differences at different regions between 3.2 and 7 tons.
