Coca-Cola Doubles Capacity at Russian Plant
Coca-Cola HBC (CCHBC) has launched a third production line at its St Petersburg site to expand production by 200 million litres a year.
The 20 million euro investment will double the annual output
of the factory to 400 million litres and has been made in response to
growth in Russia for soft drinks, the company said.
The new line will produce carbonated soft drinks across a range of package
sizes. The additional installed capacity of 35 million unit cases –
approximately. 200m litres – reflects growing demand for Coca-Cola products in
the north west region of the country.
