A publication presenting the details of the Agro-ecological Program has been published
The Agro-ecological Program (AÖP) is perhaps the most important new support element of the I. pillar support framework defined by the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (KAP) starting from 2023, which will operate with the use of 202 million euros annually. Based on preliminary calculations, it provides the possibility of a subsidy of 80 euros per hectare.

The AÖP is a form of support that can be chosen annually by producers and can be applied for voluntarily, in exchange for the use of farming practices that are advantageous from a climate and climatic point of view. In order for farmers to get to know the details of this program, the National Chamber of Agrarian Economy and the Ministry of Agriculture are providing information with a downloadable publication. The professional publication is available on the thematic website of the Ministry of Agriculture at https://kap.mnvh.eu/publications.
AÖP-approved products can also be found on the site
The AÖP has a number of practices, in order to fulfill them, farmers need to know which substances and active ingredients they can use, or which substances are not allowed to be used in the context of the given practice. Also on the thematic KAP website, under the announcements, at https://kap.mnvh.eu/announcements, you can find the lists of substances belonging to AÖP practices, such as substances classified as dangerous and/or risky for bees, microbiological preparations, a list of different conditioners, pesticides and biological agents that can be used in no-rotation cultivation.
These lists are informative, the final lists will be published simultaneously with the publication of the regulation governing the AÖP, in the form of a National Regulatory Authority notice.
