The latest issue of Trade magazine is out now!
This time the digital version has been extended to 192 pages. You can read it now by clicking on the front page at the bottom of this e-mail, until the print edition arrives. But what is the December-January issue all about?
Let us start with the front page interview, in which Salesrep’s owner and managing director Brúnó Homola talks to us about the brands the company offers and about its successes and vision.
It is now a tradition to continue our coverage of this September’s Business Days conference as a Featured Topic with the events of Thursday and Friday, and this time is no different. It helps those who were there to remember this year’s FMCG Open University and Trade Campus, and it tries to encourage those who couldn’t make it this time to join us next year.
We end this column with an exciting section, as we present the winners of the 2024 Retailer of the Year Awards, along with their entries, as they received their prizes at the gala dinner of the Business Days conference. Congratulations!
In our Reflector column we highlight the brands and companies bearing the Hungarian Product trademark, together with their successes in 2024. In the article we once again show you this year’s figures and the progress made by the trademarked products, and of course we report on who were the best in the Retail Award of Excellence and Customer Award of Excellence for Hungarian Products competitions, which our magazine founded together with Hungarian Product Nonprofit Kft.
In the market overview of our early December issue we analyse the market of spreads, margarine and butter, medicinal products, fruit syrups and drink powders, smoothies, whiskies, cosmetics, perfumes and decorative cosmetics with the help of retail data. As for the HoReCa segment, we write about a special and really exciting topic, HoReCa merchandising, with great examples.
It may seem familiar that the domestic news is complemented by a series of international news items, which are significantly more numerous in the digital edition than in the print version of Trade magazin. The news items are grouped thematically for the different columns of the magazine, so they are featured not in bulk but collected separately – news on sustainability, veganism, AI… etc. are featured in blocks, with some analytical articles added.
Our Market Analysis column now features not only agricultural, industrial and trade analysis, but also a selection of economic, shopper and consumption themed articles, with a domestic and international perspective.
In our Sales and Business Development column in December we publish the Ministry of Agriculture’s Champions Programme, about which we had a conversation with state secretary Dr Márton Nobilis. We also report on this year’s Europe’s Day in Commerce. In our upcoming Future Talks podcast you can listen to a labour market report from Sándor Baja, managing director of Randstad, from which you can read excerpts in the magazine.
In this month’s supplement we bring you the highlights from this year’s biggest food trade show, SIAL Paris – be it current global consumer trends, successful and winning innovations or how the 60-year-old SIAL presents the most important current issues.
Among many other interesting articles in this issue, in our Instore and Outdoor column we also feature the winning entries from the POPAI POP Awards, which were decided by representatives of the profession at this year’s Business Days conference.
