The legislation on support for feed transport has been published

The subsidy is calculated on the basis of the kilometers required to transport the feed, to prove which livestock keepers must submit transport documents issued between June 1 – September 23, 2022 (or a copy thereof) to the relevant village farmers of the National Chamber of Agrarian Economy (NAK) by September 26, 2022. After that, grant applications can be submitted electronically to the Hungarian State Treasury between October 3-9, 2022.

The documents forwarded by the farmer to the Chamber of Agriculture must separately or even together contain the identification number of the transport document, the date of issue and the identification data of the issuer, the number of the invoice (if the transport document was issued on the basis of an invoice), the name and quantity of the transported bulk feed, the bulk feed the recipient of the delivery (i.e. the name and address of the animal keeper), the signature of the receiver and the distance in kilometers required to deliver the bulk feed to the animal keeper. The amount of the subsidy is HUF 300/km, with the fact that a livestock keeper can submit a subsidy request for a maximum of 3,000 kilometers.

These farmers will receive help

The beneficiaries of the subsidy scheme – with regard to animals registered in the Unified Registration and Identification System (ENAR) by August 1, 2022 – are the sheep and cattle farmers who submitted an application for production-related subsidies in 2022, and the goat farmers who The goats of 2021 received a small amount of support. Those horse breeders who, within the framework of the Rural Development Program, have applied for support in 2022 for the in situ conservation of the genetic stock of protected native and endangered agricultural animal breeds. The measure to help livestock keepers was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture in the form of so-called crisis support, which enables those concerned to receive the so-called from a small amount of support (25,000 euros/3 years) up to a separate limit of 62,000 euros from the feed transport support.
