According to the retailer, the design captures the “smoky, savoury flavour” of the festive favourite. It features a holly and snowflake pattern on a pastel pink and white background, Grocery Gazette reports.
Consumers can win a roll of the limited edition wrapping paper by emailing the firm at wrappingpaper@aldi.co.uk with their full name from 24 November.
Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: “Pigs in Blankets are a highlight of the festive season and following our Good Housekeeping award win for the new Specially Selected Double Wrapped Pigs in Blankets, we wanted to create something special to celebrate the Christmas classic.
“This unique, lickable wrapping paper is the perfect way to spread extra joy on Christmas Day.”
The firm also teamed up with gift wrapping expert Louise Lewis to create a gift wrapping guide for shoppers.
