Fish harvest celebration in Hortobágy

The autumn fish harvest has started in the Hortobágy Fish Farm, the harvesting feast’s opening celebration was held on Saturday near fish pond of Elep.

The two-day harvest feast aims to draw attention to the importance of fish consumption – Lupsán Róbert, CEO of the Hortobágy Fish Farm Company (Hortobágyi Halgazdaság Zrt.) told.
During the harvest lasts until November about 1500 tons of fish will be harvested. Together with the spring harvest, a total of about 2,500 tons of fish to be fished out from the fish ponds of Hortobágy – the CEO told MTI. (MTI)
