Extended holiday opening hours at MediaMarkt

Christmas rush: extended opening hours in several stores

In order to make Christmas preparations easier, several high-traffic MediaMarkt stores will be open longer than usual on December 21, Golden Sunday, so everyone will have the opportunity to conveniently buy gifts in addition to the weekend programs.

The affected stores:

• Budaörs MediaMarkt
• Westend MediaMarkt
• Arcade MediaMarkt
• Aréna MediaMarkt
• Pólus MediaMarkt

Mammut MediaMarkt will also be open to customers with extended opening hours on December 22nd and 23rd.

Holiday closures – important dates to keep in mind

During the holiday season, MediaMarkt stores will be closed on some days, or will have shortened opening hours on several days. The following dates are particularly important for those who want to get their gifts before the holidays:

• December 24th – Closed.
• December 25th – Closed.
• December 26th – Closed.
• December 31st – Shortened opening hours, most stores open until 2:00 p.m.

It is always worth checking the exact, current opening hours in advance: on the mediamarkt.hu website, in the “My Store” menu, you can easily check the opening hours of the selected store on that day.

Christmas gifts – extended return option

Buying or receiving gifts at MediaMarkt and unopened products can be returned to stores until January 31, 2026.

Return conditions:

• the product is unopened, undamaged,
• the purchase is confirmed by a payment receipt (bill or invoice).

The purchase price of the product can be purchased or, upon request, loaded onto a gift card, which can later be used at any MediaMarkt store.
