Walmart joins other retailers in extending store hours
After reducing its store hours amid the pandemic, Walmart will join other retailers who are starting to keep their stores open later.
The retail giant is extending the store closing time at more than 4,000 of its 4,700 U.S. stores to 10 p.m. from 8:30 p.m. starting August 17. Additionally, Walmart said its stores will offer a senior shopping hour every Tuesday for customers age 60 and over that will start one hour before the store opens. Vision and pharmacy services will be available during the senior hour.
