Price forecast for autumn cereal seeds was published

The Seed Association Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board this year also announced the indicative price for the seeds of the winter cereal crops (winter wheat, winter barley, triticale). The price is a net 89,600 HUF per tonne.

Takács Géza, president of the organization told in the comminication that the price is indicative. The indicative price is an important signal towards the seed breeders to sell their stocks as seed not as commodity grain, providing the necessary amount of seed stock to the farmers.
