The Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize competition has been announced.

The Hungarian Innovation Association (MISZ) has announced the Hungarian Innovation Grand Prix for the 34th time. Companies can submit innovation projects that have been implemented in practice and will bring measurable business or social benefits in 2025. Applications can be submitted on the association’s website until February 9, 2026 – MISZ told MTI on Thursday.

It was detailed that the Hungarian Innovation Association, with the main support of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation and the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National The competition was announced in cooperation with the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture and the National Innovation Agency, with the aim of finding and recognizing the most outstanding results of domestic innovation, and showing best practices in the field of creating innovative products and technologies that meet environmental and sustainability criteria.

In addition to the application process that has been customary in previous years, this year, a novelty is that companies can also be included among the applicants with the recommendation of organizations with insight into domestic innovation. The deadline for nominations is November 30. – they drew attention.

In order to recognize innovation achievements even more widely, MKIK, which joined as a co-organizer this year, is contributing to the recognition of companies’ performance with a new award, the SME Innovation Award. In addition to the grand prize, a total of nine sectoral prizes will be awarded – the announcement said.

Over the past thirty-three years, a total of more than 1,500 entries have been submitted to the Hungarian Innovation Grand Prize competition, of which 255 were awarded – the MISZ informed.
