The turnover of pesticides exceeded 100 billion HUF last year
More than 26,000 tons of pesticides were sold in Hungary last year, reaching a net sales of 104.5 billion HUF, which was 4.7 percent higher than the previous year’s revenue – the NAIK Agricultural Economics Research Institute (NAIK AKI) announced on Monday. </ h2>
According to the report, the volume of pesticides used in 2019 increased by 2.7 percent compared to 2018.
Demand for herbicides was 33 percent in 2019, followed by sales of other pesticides (30 percent), fungicides (19 percent), and insecticides (18 percent). (MTI)
