Lángos at Balaton will be terribly expensive
The guesthouse in Badacsony is considered especially cheap in Balaton: based on a map last year, only two out of 30 places had the plain flaming cheaper than HUF 800, reports G7.
Rest areas on the Balaton do not rise in price uniformly, but we can count on an increase of up to 40 percent in the case of some accommodations. While last year in the Badacsony Bistro, a plain flame was HUF 650, today they are asking for almost HUF, which is a 46 percent price increase overall. The flame prices were as follows:
instead of 650 forints, it became 950 (+46 percent)
1350 (+36 percent) instead of 990 forints with cheese
the cheese and sour cream is HUF 1,550 (+24 percent) instead of HUF 1,250.
Due to the rising prices, the flamers also felt that the turnover decreased last year – although the income did not – and now several people mentioned that they are preparing for the most difficult period in recent years.
