Eger strengthened its role as a tourist leader among the cities with county status

In terms of the proportion of tourist tax revenues, Eger has further strengthened its leading role in tourism among the cities with county status – the press officer of the local government told MTI.

According to the information of Szalay Andrea, based on the tourist tax revenues, Eger has been holding a leading position among the county capitals and cities of county status for many years. While last year in the first 9 months of the year the gross tourist tax revenue of the 23 settlements concerned accounted for 15 percent of the gross 190 million HUF received by the Heves county seat on this title, between January 1 and September 30 this year this ratio reached approximately 162 million HUF.
