Green light from Brussels for SPAR-Plus transaction
European Comitee approved that SPAR Hungary can buy the Plus chain.
In March Spar Hungary bought the 174
stores discount chain from Tengelman. The Plus chain had HUF 100
billion revenue last year, SPAR was over HUF 284 billion so they need
a permission for aquasition from EU.
30 from the Plus stores will be
redesign by SPAR standards, the rest will be self serving shops.
