The third biogas creating fermenter was built in the sugar factory of Kaposvár
With this development, Hungary's only operating sugar factory can ensure 80 percent of its energy needs required for processing.
Hájos László, Deputy General Manager of Magyar Cukor (MC) Zrt. at Thursday’s press conference told that the Biogáz Fejlesztő Kft. (100 percent owned by the company) began the construction of the third fermenter in last March. Almost half of the 1.1 billion HUF development – 540 million HUF – was provided from EU application resources. (MTI)
