The Hungarian-owned independent hotel operator Hotel & More Group doubled its sales in 2023, and double-digit growth is expected this year, the company group told MTI.

According to Balázs Klemm, owner and CEO, domestic hotels can have a very good year this year thanks to the exceptionally large number of seven long weekends, while a significantly lower price increase than last year can be expected. During special holiday periods, full houses are expected – he noted. The CEO stated: in 2024, they expect a 20-25 percent increase in both net sales and portfolio expansion. According to the announcement, in 2023, Hotel & More doubled its revenue to HUF 7.4 billion net, while the number of hotels and event venues in its portfolio increased by less than 15 percent from 2022 to 2023.
