Goverment doubled the state support by Széchenyi Card
The states supported credit facility provides micro-, small- and medium enterprises.
In 2002 VOSZ (National
Organization of Entrepreneurs and Employers ) and MKIK (Hungarian
Chamber of Commerce and Industry ) decided to work out a system
providing their members and those of their partner organisations with
credit-card based, low-interest loans for micro-, small- and medium
enterprises at Hungarian credit institutions. First time goverment
gave 5% credit support, later it was decreased to 2% and in 2006 to
1%. It was planned to stop the state support. But now the government
increased it again to 2%.
The revolving credit limit for the
Széchenyi Card was at first HUF 5 million, now it is HUF 25
million.
The credit fee (credit interest +
handling fee) altogether is the 3-month BUBOR + 5% + 1%, of which the
Enterprise is to pay the part above state support.
