Further U.S. markets may open in front of the Tokaj Trading House
The state-owned Tokaj Trading House may double its exports to the United States, which debuted in the U.S. market last year, with its 3-butt Tokaji aszúj – said Kiss István, the CEO of the company. Over the past year, the Tokaj Trading House appeared on the North American market with 250 thousand bottles of wine, thanks to a contract with the Costco chain of stores.
Kiss István, who has just arrived back from his U.S. business trip told, that the shipment of wine and the sale is still ongoing. As a result, new markets may open in front of the Tokaj wine in the American continent. In a case of a successful contract similar volume of wine sales opportunities might arise – reports Origo.
