Reliable or not
1 May is the date when the tax authorities start the first-quarter classification of tax payers. However, only those tax payers received electronic notification who were deemed reliable or risky by the authorities. Dr János Pásztor, the head of Faludi Wolf Theiss Law Firm’s tax specialist group told that those who think they have met all of the criteria to become reliable tax payers but weren’t notified, should take the necessary steps as soon as possible – they have six months, staring on 1 May 2016, to make an official complaint.
