The Competition Authority fined Auchan

The Competition Authority penalized Auchan Hungary Ltd. to 5 million HUF, for the infringement of the Trade Act.

In order to fulfill the obligations, the Competition Authority (GVH) monitored the company. According to the  Competition Authority; Auchan did not fully complied with the order – and therefore the suppliers were not appropriately informed over the shortage of certain products – so the authority decided the 5 million HUF fine – reports Penzcentrum.hu.
