British food exports to the EU cannot be guaranteed without agreement
In case of a Brexit without agreement, there would be no full guarantee that Britain could continue to export food to the markets of the European Union – the head of the British ministry responsible for agriculture said on Tuesday.
Michael Gove, Minister responsible for Environment, Food and Rural Development, stated in his presentation at the Annual Congress of the National Federation of British Farmers (NFU) that the European Union had made it clear that it would apply the tariffs on all British foods that are applied to external exporters if the Brexit will take place without agreement.
