Never before have so many losses resulted from retail fraud

Data from SAS’s “Point of Sale or Point of Failure” report show that the level of losses from fraud and abuse has never been so high in the retail sector. Product redemption costs 12% of merchants ’annual revenue, of which 8% is misuse. Seven out of ten retailers suffered an annual loss of 1.62%.
