Four-fifths of those surveyed use at least one method to ensure their security, but one in five people still don’t check the authenticity of payment platforms, according to a recent survey by OTP Mobil. The developer of SimplePay payment solutions has found: most consumers try to be safe in more than one way, with 45% of online shoppers using two-factor authentication, checking the site’s authenticity and aborting the transaction if in doubt. When paying online using a debit card, a third of respondents protect their data by only paying through payment apps with card details saved in them. //
