Food still on top
Consumer prices were up by 0.1 percent in July, compared to June and by 6.7 percent, compared to July 2007. According to KSH data, food prices were down by 0.7 percent in July, compared to June. The price of rice, cooking oil and pork was higher, while that of sugar and egg was lower than in June. Food prices were up by 12.4 percent in July, compered to July 2007.
