Hungarian Tourism Plc. needs an extra 4 billion HUF
On top of its current expenses, Hungarian Tourism Plc. has announced the need for an extra 4 billion HUF for a truly efficient, „crisis-sensitive” marketingprogram – Ákos Niklai, manager of the association pointed out.
The association in charge of Hungarian tourism-related marketing-activities spent 5 billion HUF on marketing and keeping up itself. According to Ákos Niklai, this amount has been reduced to 4.6 billion HUF by 2009, whereas at the same time at least 8-9 billion HUF would be needed now that tourism had been hurt by the global crisis, as well.
