Médiaunió: As if it was poured on us – this is how we can protect against personalized scams

A workout plan put together just for us, a pair of shoes that fit perfectly, a hairstyle adapted to our face – we are fans of personalized solutions, as they make our lives easier. Unfortunately, however, not only service providers recognized this need: today’s cybercriminals also often try to trick us with specially designed scams. The phenomenon of personalized phishing was revealed by Médiaunió with the help of an expert.

In our screen-centered world, it is extremely important to draw attention to the scams that most often threaten us online. This year, the Médiaunió Foundation will continue the “The key is you!” project, started in 2023, in cooperation with the KiberPajzs Program. campaign to identify and prevent digital fraud attempts – even when they sound very convincing.
