Mazars: the collection of consumption taxes to be tightened in the CEE region
Consumption-type taxes remain the most important, and therefore their collection to be tightened in the Central and Eastern Europe region, and recovery in Hungary is sufficiently effective – Mazars International Tax Consultant stated in its 2019 tax summary.
The Central and Eastern European tax brochure was published on Tuesday. It includes data from 22 countries. The publication helps investors compare basic competitiveness factors, mainly taxes and contributions on employment, and sales tax – H. Nagy Dániel, Tax Director at Mazars Magyarország said at the presentation of the publication in Budapest. (MTI)
