The WHO fears a second wave of pandemic
According to a leading WHO scientist, there is every chance of a next wave of the coronavirus after more and more countries decide to reopen – portfolio.hu wrote after CNBC.
Soumya Swaminathan told CNBC that it is not known whether we will see a second wave, a second peak, or a prolonged first wave in each country because the infection rate has not dropped sufficiently by the moment of reopening, so any scenario is conceivable. (portfolio.hu)
